The processing of personal data from the input mask is solely for the purpose of processing the contact. Technical information is used to ensure error-free operation of the website or to analyse your user behaviour. Candidates use our career portal. Registration is required to use the portal. The portal helps us to transfer your data to the HR department in an encrypted form.

You have the right to request information at any time, free of charge, about the source, recipient and purpose of the personal data stored about you. You also have the right to request that this data be corrected, blocked or deleted. The lawfulness of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation will not be affected by the revocation.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until the purpose for which the data was stored no longer applies (e.g. after processing your enquiry). Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

The personal data provided to us will only be passed on within SwissOptic AG to other locations within the group of companies if this should be necessary in the course of the cooperation or processing of your enquiry.

4. Etracker

The provider of this website uses the services of etracker GmbH from Hamburg, Germany (www.etracker.com) to analyse usage data. We use cookies for web analysis only if we have obtained your express prior consent. If this is the case and you have given your consent, cookies are used to enable a statistical analysis of the reach of this website as well as test procedures for the website, e.g. to test and optimise different versions of our online offer or its components. Cookies are small text files that are stored by the Internet browser on the user's terminal. Etracker cookies do not contain any information that can be used to identify a user.

The data generated by etracker is processed and stored by etracker exclusively in Germany on behalf of the provider of this website and is therefore subject to strict German and European data protection laws and standards. In this respect, etracker has been independently audited, certified and awarded the ePrivacyseal data protection seal.

Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of Art. 6 par. 1 lit. f (legitimate interest) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest is to optimise our online services and web presence. Since the privacy of our visitors is important to us, data that might allow a reference to an individual person, such as IP address, login or device identifiers, are anonymised or pseudonymised as soon as possible. We do not use this information in any other way, nor do we combine it with other data or pass it on to third parties.

You may object to the above data processing at any time. The objection has no negative consequences.

5. Registration and application process

Registration (creating an account)

We use a career portal for applications. Registration is required to use the portal. The portal helps us to transfer your data to the HR department in an encrypted form. The following data will be processed for an application and registration on the Career Portal:

- First name Last name
- Your password
- Your e-mail address
- Country/region of residence

The processing of registration data enables you to complete, manage and modify your application documents.

Application process

When you apply for a job with us, we process the data you provide in order to fill advertised vacancies and to select qualified candidates. This includes, but is not limited to, the following information

- First name Last name
- Your date of birth
- Your title
- Your gender
- Your address
- Your phone number
- Your e-mail address
- Your pictures
- Qualification details
- Further information in CV etc.

Re-addressing and transfer

If you decide to join our talent pool, we will not collect any further data from you. This is an extension of processing. The data submitted in the application process will then be kept longer for future vacancies, will be visible to a wider group of Group companies and you may be contacted by other Group companies with vacancies.

LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

Application procedure

Your data will be used to process your application and to decide on the establishment of an employment relationship with SwissOptic AG. The legal basis is Art. 6 par. 1 lit b DSGVO. 

Disclosure and transfer

The data processing within the framework of the Talent Pool is based on your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO. 

Duration of storage

Registration and application process

Your application data will not be processed beyond the purpose described. Your personal data will be deleted no later than six months after completion of the application process, unless we have a legitimate interest in keeping the data. Other legitimate interests in this sense include, for example, a duty to provide evidence in proceedings under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG). Account data will be deleted six months after the account has become inactive.

 

Re-addressing and transfer

If you consent to the processing of your data as part of the Talent Pool, your data will be stored for a further six months.
